Yoga for Runners - Take part in this all-levels Yoga class to learn poses that can complement a training program, or help build flexibility and strength in an everyday runner.
Pre-Race Yoga for Runners - Take part in this all-levels Yoga class to learn poses to help warm up during the morning prior to the race, activating key muscles and awakening your entire body.
Yoga for Race Recovery - Take part in this all-levels Yoga class to learn poses to help you in your post-race recovery, focusing on easing soreness in key muscles, reducing pain & inflammation, and gradually increasing flexibility and energy in the hours and days after your race.
Meditation for Runners - Learn to harness the power of meditation to settle you mind, become more mindful while running, and enhance overall running performance. Explore what meditation is, what its benefits for runners are, and how to do it in simple, easy to learn steps.
Ask Jeff with Jeff Galloway - In this discussion with Jeff Galloway, all of your running questions can be answered! When asked what he wants people to get out of this session, Jeff has said, "I want to help each person enjoy every mile of every run."

FLORIDA MARATHON & 1/2 MARATHON

“One of America’s Top 10 Bucket List Waterfront Races,” says Runners World Magazine. Located in Melbourne on Florida’s Space Coast, between Miami and Jacksonville, east of Orlando and Tampa, the Publix Florida Marathon & 1/2 Marathon makes for a perfect warm winter running destination for runners of all ages and levels. It is held a month after the Disney Marathon. Like a Rock-n-Roll marathon, our event includes up to 20 musical acts along the course of the half and full marathon and half a dozen on the routes of the 5-k. It is a walker and headphones-friendly event with a seven hour time limit on the Marathon course. Half Marathoners have 5 hours to complete the event. A very scenic route awaits and includes four bridge crossings for the full and two for the half-marathon. The course twice takes marathoners to the beach side barrier island and back to the mainland before concluding at the riverfront Front Street Park in downtown Melbourne. The awards ceremony follows with a party featuring yet another live band.

This is a great activity stop for your kids – but we want to hear from our Guests of all ages!
Did you know? To help expand the amount of renewable energy at the Walt Disney World Resort, we installed a Mickey Mouse-shaped solar facility in collaboration with Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID) and Duke Energy. The solar array is located at Epcot and can be viewed from the monorail and from space!
